SUCCESSFUL DEMONSTRATION FLIGHT TO AUSTRALIA POSSIBLE. LONDON, June 16. (Received June 16, at 5.5 p.m.) , Britain’s fastest mail carrier, a twinengined Boulton and Paul plane built at the order of the Air Ministry, made a successful demonstration flight at Norwich. The machine is designed for Empire routes and is capable of a 1000 miles non-stop flight at 150 miles per hour at half throttle and 200 at top speed. Mails may be sorted cn route and dropped or picked up without landing. Storage is provided for 10001 bof mail. It is understood a test flight to Australia is contemplated. The machine could reach Capetown in three days and Darwin in under seven days.
