labourer found dead (Per United Press Association.) GISBORNE, June 14. John Watton, aged VO, 'a general labourer employed by the Waikohu County Council, was found dead in the council s yard at Te Karaka this afternoon Death is believed to be due to. heart trouble. The deceased was a married man witn a grown-up family. . YOUNG MAN’S DEATH William Lindsay M'Leod, a single man aged 30 years, who resided with his mother and sister at Green Island, was found yesterday afternoon lying in the garage at his home with his throat cut. He was dead when found, and the fact that the doors of the garage were fastened suggests that he had locked himself in. ihe body was removed to the Morgue,, where an inquest will be held this morning. HEAD INJURIES An elderly man named Andrew Sinclair, residing at Royal crescent, Musselburgh, Buffered head injuries and concussion when he was knocked down by a motor car as be stepped off the safety zone at the Stock Exchange yesterday morning. He was admitted to the Hospital at 10.16.
