SALE OF PEDIGREE JERSEYS
HIGH PRICES REALISED. (Pee United Press Association.) WHANGARET, April 28. Vivandiere, the world’s record Jersey, realised 150 guineas at Messrs A. Christie and Co.’s dispersal sale yesterday, being purchased by Mr Dermer, who also paid 100 guineas for another cow. Dr Walker, of Whangarei, paid 103 guineas for another animal. The prices generally were high, Mr Dermer being the biggest buyer, taking seven animals averaging 70 guineas each.
