THE SANDERS CUP
WELLINGTON TRIALS. (Per United Press Association.) WELLINGTON, December 15. Lavina secured her second win this evening in the Sanders Cup trials, when she overtook Miss Josephine, which had led for most of the race, near the finish, thus beating also her sternest rival, Betty. The race was commenced in the lightest of light north-easterly winds, but the breeze freshened after about an hour, enabling the boats to get full advantage of their spinnakers in the closing stages.
