GOOD TEMPLARY

Sis. Gertrude Gunion presided over the weekly meeting of the Radiant Morn Temple held in the Methodist Sunday School. Bro. W. lies was in charge. The Temperance story was given by Bro. Rae, who also rendered the solo " The Laird o' Cockpen." The programme for the eveuiug was a "Question Box," all present taking part. The singing of the closing ode ended the meeting. The Hope of Caversham Lodge, No. 128, held its weekly meeting in Baxter Hall, Marion street, on Thursday. C.T. Bro. R. Crawshaw presided over a fair attendance of members and visitors from Rescue and Hope of Dunedin Lodges. Sis. Blythe reported on the Juvenile Temple and Sis. Steedman, sen., on the Junior Lodge. Bro. Thompson gave the greetings of his lodge. The item for the evening was "English Night." Sis. Blythe be'ms in charge. The following rendered items. Solos Sis. Mrs Leishman. Sis. Mrs Wilson, and Bro. Hilton; recitation. Sis. Mrs Paull; dance, Bro. F. Switalli.

Tile Hope of Dunedin Lodge, No. 155, T.0.G.T., met on Wednesday. C.T. Bro. E. J. South presided over a good attendance of members and visitors. The C.T. and members of the Hope of Caversham Lodge and the P.C.T. of Rescue Lodge visited officially, the members according them a hearty welcome. After the business bad been concluded the following rendered items: —Sis. M. Bowe, Bro. Hilton. Sis. Black, Bro. White, Sis. Gain, Sis. Giles. Sis. Mrs Palill. Sis. Black. Bro. Stephenson. Sis. E. Wright. The pianist was Bro. King. Community singinsr was led by Mr King and Mr White. The Star of Victory Temple. No. 31. met in the Knikorni Presbyterinn Simday School Hall with Superintendent Sis. H. Williamson in charge. C.T. Sis. Jean Brown opened the meeting and presided over a large muster of members and one candidnte was initiated. -Six name* were handpd in for the Temnle Cradle 8011. Sis. Mrs Flett spoke on the recent temperance examination, for which some of the members sat. The teniperance reading was given by the superintendent and a missionary letter was read by Bro. L. Scott, assistant sunerintendent. from Southern Rhodesia. Visitors were welcomed from lb" Star of Freedom.
