(Received March 22, at 10.30 p.m.) In the Sheffield Shield match South Australia in their second innings scored 225 (Nitsche 110; O'Reilly five for 59). New South Wales in their second innings scored 118 (Bill 40). Bradman was clean bowled in both innings before he scored. Grimmett took four wickets for 32. South Australia won by 132 runs. Both these States are equal for the shield with 25 points each, but New South Wales wins on averages.
