TREASURY ALMOST EMPTY M. CALLAUX PESSIMISTIC. PARIS, March 20. (Received March 21, at 0.30 a.m.) M. Caillaux, in a speech, dwelt pessimistically on France’s financial position. He said that the Treasury was almost empty. Public expenditure had grown beyond all measure, receipts were dwindling, and the deficit in the 1933 Budget would probably be £75,000,000.
