WOMAN’S DISAPPEARANCE
COAT AND BICYCLE FOUND (Pee United Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, January 14. A costume coat and a bicycle belonging to Gertrude Guest, aged 39, single, who has been missing from her home since II n.m. yesterday, were found to-day near the cliffs at Scarborough, Sumner, and it is feared that she has lost her life. Search parties have been out since yesterday, but the rough eeas have made it impossible to reach the base of the cliffs.
