LIBERAL PATRONAGE (Per United Press Association.) WELLINGTON, January 14. The official figures of the patronage accorded the Christmas Air Mail Services, which were organised throughout the Dominion on Christmas Eve, show that a total of 17,027 articles were conveyed by the service. In the totals given in the following list the mail from Palmerston North included matter from Auckland and district, which arrived by the Limited for carriage b£ the air service. The Wellington total also includes mail matter, which arrived from the South Island by steamer for despatch by air to northern centres. The figures were:—Gisborne, 2732; Hastings, 1382; Palmerston North, 4788; Wanganui, 48(5; Hawera, 015; New Plymouth, 199; Wellington, 4059; Blenheim, 748; Christchurch, 804; Timaru, 574; Oamaru, 348; Dunedin, 233. Total, 17,027.
