FIRE ON MOTOR SHIP

FLOODING. RESORTED TO FOUR MEN BADLY BURNED, HAMILTON (Ontario), June 17. The motor ship Bermuda, of 20,000 tons, operated by the Furness-Bermuda Line between here and New York, sank at the pier to-day. The bridge and the superstructure were burned away. The stern is resting on the bottom. The fire broke out in the elevator shaft, necessitating the hooding of the stern tanks. Four men were badly burned, but there was no loss of life. There were no passengers on board.
