WINE AT WEDDINGS
TO THE EDITOR.
Sir, —When reading in your issue of the 10th inst. thp account of the meeting of the general assembly of the Presbyterian Church, I was amazed to find that the members of that body evidently consider themselves to be wiser than their Creator. They agreed that ministers should instruct their people that no wine was to be produced at wedding breakfasts. They must have forgotten that it was at a marriage which Christ “ adorned and beautified with His presence ” that He worked His first miracle. What was that miracle? He turned about 100 gallons of water into “ good wine.”—l am, etc., X.
