THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL.
VISIT TO ROTORUA. (Per United Press Association.) ROTORUA, February 21. The Governor-General and Lady Bledfsloe arrived yesterday at Rotorua on an unofficial visit, accompanied by Captain and Mrs Vaughan Hughes and Lieutenant Elworth. His Excellency received the following telegram from the Chief Scout (Lord Baden-Powell): —“I am grateful for your Excellency’s kind appreciation of the Scout movement. The pluck, virility, and resourcefulness of the New Zealand people in the earthquake have earned world-wide admiration. These qualities we hope to reproduce from the Guides and Scouts in the oncoming generation,”
