RUGBY, February 19, (Received Feb. 20, at 5.5 p.m.) Thousands of people thronged the approaches to Paddington station this afternoon and accorded Charlie Chaplin, the film comedian, a great welcome to London, In the forefront of the crowd were several of the famous film star’s companions of his boyhood. He greeted them warmly,,and assured them that he would make" an early visit to his birthplace at Lambeth.
