KINEMAS IN BRITAIN
SCREENINGS ON SUNDAYS. (British Official Wireless.) (United Press Association.) (By B'ectrlo Telegraph—Copyright.) RUGBY, February 19. (Received Feb. 20, at 5.5 p.m.) The Home Secretary (Mr J. R. Clynes) stated in Parliament that he was in consultation with the leaders of the other political parties regarding - the opening of kinemas on Sundays, which the court recently declared to be illegal, contravening the 150-year-old Lord’s Day Observance Act.
