EXTENT OF INFLUENCE. AN IMPORTANT RESOLUTION. (United Press Association.) (By Electric Telegraph—Copyright.) LONDON, January 22. The influence of ■ Christian science figured prominently in an important decision at the Convocation of Canterbury, which with only three dissentient votes carried a resolution in favour of spiritual healing. The resolution petitioned the Primate to appoint a joint committee to prepare provisional services for unction and the imposition of the hand for temporary use until a permanent and fullyauthorised form is issued under Synodical sanction.
