ANGLICAN CLUB’S CHAMPION--SHIPS. The Anglican Harrier and Amateur Athletic Club held its second championship meeting at the Caledonian Grounds last evening. There was a slight breeze and the track was inclined to be dead. J. W. Webster again scored, winning the 220 yards from A. L. Price. E. Taylor won the half-mile easily in the fair time of 2min 4 4-ssec. Results:— 220 YARDS CHAMPIONSHIP. J. W. Webster 1 A. L. Price .. 2 J. Robilliard .. 3 Five started. Won by two yards, with three yards between second and third. Time, 24sec. HALF-MILE CHAMPIONSHIP. E. Taylor 1 A, L. Price .. 2 Five started. From the pistol Holmes led Taylor by five yards, with the rest of the field strung out. At the end of the first lap Holmes withdrew, leaving Taylor leading Price by 20 yards.
