STEEL LATTICE BRIDGE.
ERECTED AT RAVENSBOURNE. NOVEL ENGINEERING CONSTRUCTION. A somewhat novel piece of engineering construction work is presented in connection with the new fertiliser works at Ravensbourne in the form of a steel ramp. In reality the ramp is a series of steel lattice girder spans, which extend from the new wharf over the main railway line, right through the main buildings for a distance of 350 feet in all, and rising from the wharf level to a height of 36 feet at the point where it reaches the building.
