THE CORNWELL CUP.
EIGHT CHALLENGES RECEIVED. (Feb United Pbess Association.) AUCKLAND, December 1. The Takapuna Boating Club, the holder of the Cornwell Cup, has received challenges for the cup from Otago, Christchurch, Lyttelton, Wellington, Tauranga, Whangarei, Manukau, and Hamilton. Napier and Plimmerton are also expected to challenge, and, with Auckland again defending the cup, the contest should be the most interesting on record.
