PERNICIOUS ACTIVITIES. A COMMITTEE’S REPORT. (United Frees Association.) (By Electric Telegraph—Copyright.) WASHINGTON, November 20. (Received Nov. 30, at 11.30 p.m.) > Representative Fish, whose congressional committee has conducted an investigation into Communistic activities in America, declared to-night in a nationwide ratio talk, that there arc 500,000 Communists and sympathi cars' ■ in America, with 100,000 in New York City alone, and their activities are “ far more extensive and pernicious than was anticipated before the investigation began.” He_ said that Communism would be a serious threat to American industry but for the efforts of the American FederaLabour. “America cannot stand idly by and see American industres demoralised because Congress and the Federal Government continue blind to the facts.”
