TOE, PRIZE WINNERS. TWO SUFFER BEREAVEMENT. (United Press Association.) (By Electric Telegraph—Copyright.) LONDON, November 29. (Received Nov. 30, at 6.5 p.m.j 111 luck quickly followed the good fortune of Prescott, the. first prize winner of the Irjsh sweepstake. He was unable to attend at Dublin to receive his cheque as he was attending his father’s funeral in London, his father having died suddenly during the week. Dawe, of Vancouver, has not sent word how the second prize should be paid to him. Remittance to Canada presents legal difficulties, and it is not known whether Dawes intends to come to Ireland to collect his money, A workshop widow who won £20,000 has also had a bereavement, as her brother died on Tuesday as the result of a motor accident.
