LONDON,- November 28, (Received Nov. 30, at 5.5 p.m.) In the House of Commons, Dr Ethel ■Bentham (Lab.) moved a Bill retrospectively restoring the right, lost in 1870, of British women to retain their British nationality if married to foreigners. Dr Bentham \ mentioned the hardship of a doctor friend who lived in an unmarried state with a foreigner rather than lose her nationality and the legitimacy of her children. The Bill was read a second time without a division.
