MOSCOW, November 27. (Received Nov. 28, at 5.5 p.m.) The trial of the professors and engineers continues amid surroundings which rival those, at Hollywood. A lawyer with a cigarette in his hand shoots Questions at a black-haired, bespectacled man, while the four judges blow clouds of smoke over the courtroom and bend forward to listen to KuprianofFs evidence. Ramzin, who looks more like a judge than one of the accused, employs an ear trumpet in order not to miss a word, and be makei copious notes, while movie cameras clack continuously. Soviet soldiers lounge around the dock, frequently wandering from) the room and entirely neglecting the accused, who smoke as incessantly as anyone. One of the judges chutioned KuprianofiE when he referred to'France and said that Such evidence must be taken in camera. A BELATED DISCOVERY. FLAW IN THE INDICTMENT. LONDON, .November 27. (Received Nov. 28, at 10 p.m.) The Riga correspondent states that the authorities at' Moscow are chagrined at the belated discovery of an obvious flaw in the official indictment against the eight accused. Ryabushinsky and Vishnegradsky, who were alleged to be candidates for certain portfolios in 1828, died and were buried in France in 1924-25, yet their names appear in Ramzin's published deposition. The prosecution apparently decided to omit them from the report of Ramzin’s verbal testimony and the incident strikingly illustrates the fictitious nature of the whole case.—-Times Cable.
