SUICIDE IN BERLIN
PROMINENT FASTING MAN. " “NOT ENOUGH TO EAT.” - (United Press Association.) (By Electric Telegraph—Copyright.) BERLIN, November 27. (Received Nov. 29, at 1 a.m.) A prominent fasting man, who is known as “Jolly,” but whose real name is Dr Adolph Gleuksmann, and who is famous for lengthy fasts which are conducted in glass cases, committed suicide. There has been somewhat of a slump in the fasting business, resulting in a diminution of income. “Jolly” left a letter stating that he was driven to suicide because he had 1 nothing to eat.
