(Received May 7, at 8 p.m.) In the House of Commons Mr Philip Snowden (Chancellor of the Exchequer), iu. answer to a question, said that last • year’s percentage of indirect taxation was 35.82 per cent, and direct 64.18. Under the Budget the respective figures were 34.07 and 65,93.
