MONTHLY MEETING. The monthly meeting of the Waikouaiti j Borough Council was held on Monday ; evening, and was attended by the Mayor (Mr Andrew Fell) and Cra Allcocfc Brown, Cooper. Hallum, Lang. M Dougall, M'Eie, and Woods. An apology was received for the absence of Or Mudge. Messrs Brasch and Thompson, solicitors, Dunedin. wrote asking the council to consent to the subdivision of part 01 allotment 2A, block VI. The Finance Committee reported that the credit balance at the bank was £7U 6s 2d and that borough rates amounting to only £2 lis 3d were outstanding, whilst lis 6d in Otago Electric Porer Board rates was at that date unpaid.—Approved. ■ Accounts amounting to f 309 19s 5d were passed for payment.
