MR GANDHI’S ULTIMATUM

Mr Gandhi’s ultimatum to the Viceroy ou the Congress demands will be presented on Sunday. It will call on the Government to meet them within a week, at the end of which the civil disobedience campaign will begin.
THE DUTCH CHURCH ; HERESY HUNTTN AFRICA. CHARGES AGAINST PROFESSOR. (United Press Association.) (By Electric Telegraph—Copyright.) CAPETOWN, February 27. A special synod of the Dutch Reformed Church, which is the final court of appeal, and which consists of 400 clergy and ciders, has commenced its sittings to decide charges of heresy against the Rev. Duplessis (a professor in the Stellenbosch , University). The proceedings were jicld in private.
The charges arise from the non-accept-ance of the entire Bible as infallible.
