Charged with having given damaging information to the newspapers, including charges made against officials in connection with the Peltzer incidents in Sydney, Mr J. Allison (honorary secretary of the New. South Wales Amateur Athletic Association) -resigned his position at a meeting of. the association. The treasurer (Mr F. Robertson), stating that he would work with no other secretary, also resigned. Both left the meeting immediately.
