(Received Feb. 26, at 5.5 p.m.) When asked in the House of Commons whether he was able to make a statement regarding assistance to the motor export trade, Mr J. H. Thomas (Minister-in-Charge of the Unemployment Problem) replied that he could not indicate what precise steps were being taken, but he would go so far as to say that internal arrangements were being made by the industry.
