PALMERSTON NOTES.
(From Odb Own Correspondent.) PALMERSTON, November 's. ATHLETIC SPORTS. At a meeting attended by 22 residents last night it was decided to form a Palmerston Sports Society. The followmg officials were appointed:— Patrons—Messrs W. H. Hopkins, E. H. Um, and J. A. Maepherson, MP • nredents—Messrs A. M'Gregor M'lvmRolfc. and G. Arrangements were made to hold a road cycle race from Palmerston to Dunback on Wednesday evening, November 20, also boys and men’s crosscountry runs later on.
