SCOUT JAMBOREE
APPROACHING THE END. PRESENTATION TO LEADER. (United Press Association.! (By Electric Telegraph— Copyright.) LONDON, August 10. (Received August 11, at 5.5 p.m.) The Scouts’ Jamboree at Arrowe Park is approaching the end. The gates will be closed to the public on Monday morning, and Pilgrims’ Way will ring for the three following days with the tramp of youthful legions returning to the fourcorners of the world. Lord Baden Powell toured the camp on horseback, and addressed 500 scoutmasters in brilliant sunshine. ' Christian Holm, the Danish Chief Scout, on behalf of the Scouts of the world, presented Lord Baden Powell with a Rolls-Royce motor car with a caravan trailer, a cheque for £2750, his portrait in oils, and an illumina'tod scroll in a casket, and paid a tribute to his inspiration for making boys loyal and useful citizens. The radiator of the car is inscribed: " To ol,r beloved chief from the Scouts of nil the world.”—United Service.
