FLYING TO EDINBURGH

(Received August 11, at 5.5 p.m.) The Daily News understands that, following the receipt of urgent State papens, ’Mr MacDonald chartered ' an aeroplane and will fly to Edinburgh this morning. It is safe to assume that his ultimate destination will be The Hague.—United Service. REASON FOR FLIGHT, COTTON DISPUTE DISCUSSION. LONDON, August 10. (Received August 11, at 5.5 p.m.) Mr MacDonald is flying from Lossiemouth to Edinburgh to meet Sir Horace Wilson to discuss a basis of settlement in the cotton dispute. He never intended to fly to The Hague to intervene in the Reparations Conference.—Australian Press Association. RETURN TO LOSSIEMOUTH. LONDON, August 10. (Received August 11, at 5.5 p.m.) After a conference at Edinburgh Mr MacDonald flew back'to Lossiemouth in order to attend church on Sunday. (Received August 11, at 11.45 p.m.) It is learned that while he was in Edinburgh Mr MacDonald had a conference with Mr Montague Norman, governor of the Bank of England, and Mr,.
