OTAGO HUNT CLUB.

MEET AT MOUNT GRAND. Favoured by glorious weather, the Otago Hunt Club held a most enjoyable meet on Saturday afternoon at Mount G / a , nd ’ Broekville, over the properties of Mrs Magonam and Mr T. Dalziel An excellent run of about three miles had been arranged over a course of 14 jumps, consisting of gorse hedges, post and rails, stone walls, and road doubles. A splendid view of the run was obtained irom the paddocks below Mr DalziePs residence, where a large number of spectators watched the jumping. The attendance of followers was slightly less than usual owing to the absence of the Wingatui horses, the only representative present being Pantler, who showed much improved form in hia jumping. The display of jumping by the hunt followers was exceedingly good, only one fall occurring. At the close of the run afternoon tea was provided by Mr and Mrs 1.
