SIR THOMAS UPTON’S AMBITION NEW YACHT TO BE BUILT. (United Preps Association.) (By Electric Telegraph-^Copyright.) LONDON, May 4. (Received May 6, at 0,5 a.m.) Sir Thomas Tipton* through the Royal Ulster Yacht Club, has challenged the New York Yacht Club to race at the Sandy Hook course for the America Cup for which he is building a new yacht “Shamrock V,” which must cross the Atlantic -to compete. : .Sir: -Thomas, despite his age (79), keeps-evergreen like his emerald painted yacht. His' ambition .is to the "America Guji for Britain.—Australian Press Association, —United. Service.'
