' RECEPTION AT CHICAGO. ANZAC SUNDAY OBSERVED. (United Press Association.) (By Electric Telegraph—Copyright.) NEW YORK, April 29. The young Australians attended their first big baseball game at Chicago on Saturday, and in the evening attended a reception given, by the English Speaking Union. They then observed Anzac Sunday at the University of' Chicago chapel, and paraded through the university grounds with their band. The Union Jack and the Australian flag were prominent in the chancel. A special programme of memorial music preceded the address of the day by Dean Cilkey, at whose request the congregation stood for a minute's silence in honour of the Anzacs. The speaker said that America found it a privilege to join in honouring the memory of the Anzacs.—Australian Press Association.
