RADIUM FOR BRITAIN
CONTRIBUTIONS TO FUND. TOTAL FOR FIRST DAY. (United Press Association.) (By Electric Telegraph—Copyright.) LONDON, April 30. (Received April 30, at 9 p.m.) The radium fund reached £59,093 on the first day, including the King’s £SOO, the Queen’s £250, and the Prince of Wales’s £lO5. Lloyd’s underwriters sent the first instalment of £15,000, and Sir Harry M'Gonlan and the M. Samuel Company £IO,OOO each, while there were 15 donations of £IOOO each.—Times Cable.
