MOURNING IN ZAGREB
THE KILLING OF STUDENTS. DEMONSTRATIONS RENEWED. v (United Press Association.) (By Electric Telegraph—Copyright.) LONDON, December 2. (Received Dec. 2, at 5.5 p.m.The Belgrade correspondent of The Times reports that the demonstrations have been renewed at Zagreb. The killing of students was the signal for mourning in the fcntire town, which quickly flew black flags. The authorities . decided to carry out the official celebrations in the evening with a military procession, with torchlights, flags, and bands, which traversed the town. The crowds shouted angrily, - and shots .were - fired, upon which the police fired several volleys, killing one and wounding many others. Spasmodic firing continued until midnight, but the town is quiet to-day. The police compelled the public to haul down the mourning flags. The troops and officers are confined to barracks in order to avoid conflicts. The Croat newspapers furiously condemn “ bloody festivities."—Times Cable.' :
