RESIGNATION FROM OFFICE. STATEMENT IN EXPLANATION. (Pros* Association-Bj Telegraph—Copj-ngit i LONDON. January 28. (Received Jan. 29, at 5.5 p.m.) Lord Bledisloe has resigned the office of Parliamentary Secretary for Agriculture. In a statement issued from Downing street he explains that in view of the importance of grassland farming at present he is of the opinion that he can best serve the interests of agriculture by taking up the chairmanship of the Imperial Grassland Association, which is being formed under the auspices of Imperial Chemical Industries, Ltd., with the object of improving pasture land in Britain and the rest of the Empire.
