BURIED SINCE THE WAR. THE COMMISSION’S REPORT. (Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright.) PARIS, 1 ccember 23. (Received Dec. 24, at 5.5 p.m.) Weeks of intense excitement over the discovery of mysterious tablets found buried at Glozel, about which skilled archasologists were at once doubtful, have now been suddenly pricked by the 'ntornational Commission’s report, which shown that the tablets were buried since the war, and do not belong to the> terrain in which they were found. Some are fakes and others authentic, but not prehistoric. The Glozel finds consisted of about 5000 alleged antioue objects in bone, stone, and pottery, some containing inscriptions Three scientists who championed the finds describe the commission’s reports is ridiculous.—A. and N.Z.
