A rapier duel occurred at daybreak on ••recent morning at Gairaut, six miles outside Nice, between Leonida Campolonghi, editor of the Italian page of the French anti-Faseist paper. La France, and Signor Porta, the editor of an Italian Fascist paper, II Ponsiero Italiano. Alter a severe fight, which lasted half an hour, bignor Campolonghi touched his opponent, opening a vein in the light forestrn.
