BISHAW’S HAWAIIAN SERENADERS.
SHOW WEEK ATTRACTION. Henry Peelau Bishaw has announced that this clever constellation of Hawaiian entertainers will appear as the Snow Week attraction for three performances at His Majesty’s Theatre, commencing on Thursday evening next find following on Friday and Saturday, and the box plan of reservations will open this morning at the Bristol Piano Company, where, judging by enthusiasm which is being displayed, there is sure to be a big demand for seating accommodation. The programmes to be presented on these occasions will be entirely new to local audiences, and will include the latest American, Continental, and English musical comedy and song successes. The syncopating five, a party of jazz artists, will contribute two of Paul Whiteman’s latest successes in “Susie” and “Nancy,” whilst Eric and Ivy Butterfield will essay two hits arranged specially by Mr Bishaw. The vocal side will include the up-to-the-minute successes, “After Dark,” “Yearning,” “Honolulu Blues,” etc. Messrs Floyd ami Tomkinson, the saxophonic duo, will nlay selections from grand, opera to florid, feverish jazz. Kankala 'Khan, a wonder worker from the land of the Rajahs, is to present nn net crowded with the mysteries of the East, whilst Henry Peelau Bishaw will contribute an entirely new pot pourri of solos on the banjo, ukulele, and steel gu’tar. with which his name has become a household word in the principal theatres throughout the world. Special prices are advertised, and a matinee will also be held on Saturday afternoon.
