WOOLLEN AND COTTON TRADES SURFER. Press Association —By Telegraph—Copyright. NEW YORK, July 12. The vogue in the use of silk undergarments has helped that industry, but it has worked terrible havoc ,in the cotton and woollen trades. The consumption in America decreased by 1,000,000 bales in 1924, while the silk manufactures increased their output by 30 per cent.—Sydney Sun Cable.
