The Institute of Pacific Relations has approved of a programme for a permanent organisation, and named as the executive Messrs Atherton (Honolulu), Furumi (Japan), W-en (China), Nelson (Canada), and Wilbur (America). It was agreed to hold biennial conferences, with a permanent secretariat. The authorised administrative budget is £15,000 per annum.—Reuter. /
