TRAGIC MOCK DUEL
AN AEROPLANI? OVERTURNS. HONOLULU. June 25. An aerial fatalitv occurred during a mock duel between two American naval aeroplanes. Lieutenant Chase, who was attacking, struck the wing of his companion’s machine, causing his own to turn turtle. Chase was flung from his machine and killed. A sad feature of the occurrence is that Lieutenant Chase’s wife and two children wiil arrive at Honolulu from Los Angeles on Friday, having set _ out on the journey for tho purpose of bidding him farewell before he left for Australia. They are not aware of the tragedy.
