BANDITS STOP TRAIN
ROBBERY IN INDIA. • CALCUTTA, May 28. Details aro now available of a railway robbery which took place’near Agra. Bandits stopped the tram by pulling the communication cord and then, armed with pistols and sticks, overpowered the tniard and entered the brake-van, from which they took three bags containing 500 rupees (£SO). On a .shot being fired by a passenger, however, the dacnits hurried off, leaving behind them a bag which contained 3000 rupees (£300).
