CHEAPER HOUSES.
WELLINGTON BUILDER’S PATENT. (Per United Press Association.! WELLINGTON. June 6. A local contractor has informed the Mayor that ho has a patent method of building whereby he is able to erect concrete houses for from £l5O to £2OO below tho usual cost of the average-size house. This would make tho cost about £B4O. The matter will go before the recently-appointed Housing Committee of the City Council.
