(Received August 25, at 8 p.m.) A wireless message from the Hudson Bay Company’s motor ship Lady Kindersley, which is caught in an ice-field at the mouth of th Mackenzie River with 47 men on 1 . a.', asks that an aeroplane should be sent immediately, as it is the only chance of escape. The crew had failed in an attempt to get ashore over the ice. Tire vessel was now drifting towards the North Pole, and was threatened with destruction. An aeroplane trip would be perilous, as it would be 10 days before it could resell the vicinity of the motor ship.—Sydney Sun Cable.
