Tho Amy Air Service was informed to-day that a radio message sent by Lieutenant Smith (commander of the American flight squadron) made no mention of Lieutenant Loca-telli, the missing Italian aviator. (Received August 25, at 8 p.m.) Scenes of wild enthusiasm marked the arrival of Lieutenant d’Oisy and his mechanic, Bezin. They only stayed for a few hours en route to their homes in the country. They will receive a civic welcome in October. Lieutenant d’Oisv and Bezin will leave France on October 25 to lead a motor caterpillar expedition across the Libyan Desert to Tunis and Lake Chad and back.
