Speeches of the wildest description were delivered in the Memorial Hall, London, at a conference under the auspices of the Red Internationale of Labour Unions. Mr Tom Mann,' who presided, said: “We are not disruptionists, but men who know what wo want. The press and the Church and other influences that may be against us can go to the devil.” Mr Glenvillo Durham said: “If you want anything you’ll only get it by brute massed force.” The conference adopted resolutions demanding minimum wage of £4 weekly, the repeal of legislation against the working class, and particularly the use of armed forces in industrial disputes.—A. and N.Z.
