LOGAN PARK.
THE EDUCATION BOARD’S SITE. NEW OFFER BY HARBOUR BOARD. A letter was received from the Harbour Board at the meeting of the Education Board yesterday, in which an offer \\%s made of another site in ntaco of the eight acres granted to the Education Board on liogan Park for the new Albany Street School. The new land offered fronts the proposed highway, and is immediately opposite the present. Potiehet Bay Railway Station. A plan was forwarded, and after the matter had been been considered in committee by the Education Board the chairman (Air Wallace) announced that a letter wnliild be forwarded to the Harbour Board asking that the land should bo flagged off on the afternoon of their next meeting, so that members could inspect the site, and stating that thematicr would be considered at the next meeting. Tt was also decided that a sketch plan of the locality be prewired, and that a copy bo sent, to the Education Department and one of the Albany Street School Committee. It. was further derided that the department he asked to give the board authority to close with (tie offer. The Chairman said that members of the board were much impressed with the_ financial value of the new site. He did not think, however, that it would be advisable to come to any' decision that day.
