DEATH OF CAPTAIN STRICKLAND. Press Association —By Telegraph—Copyright. HOBART, June 17. Just before the steamer Port Hacking arrived here hex’ master, Captain Strickland, was found dead on board. Captain A. E. Strickland was well known in New Zealand and Australian ports. He was in command of the Port Augusta, a unit of tho Commonwealth and Dominion Line, in 1916, and was later transferred to the Port Hacking. He visited Port Chalmers with the Port Hacking on January 3 last.
